These are some art pieces that I have created by taking some photos of the internet along with making some of then myself. The point of this project to me was to create a piece of artwork that you were interested in. The reason for this was that some student weren't interested in the things we were doing so we advocated and got to make our own project. The steps I took to create these project was finding photos that I liked and took parts of them. Then I created some of my own work around them. finally I added some color to make certain things pop and I was done. I did all of this work on Adobe Illustrator. After I thought I was done we did a critic and I found that I wanted to make another project. The blue and purple one is my first project and the red one is my second one.
Understanding Scale and Proportions:
Scale: Scale is the difference in size between two objects in an image. Proportion:Proportion is like scale but has to do with were the object look father away from other objects. Foreground:Is the part of view that is closest to the viewer. It is most of time it is the clearest part of and image. Middle ground: In the part of view that is in the middle of an image and is more clear then the background but not as clear as the foreground. Background:In the part of the view that is in the back of an image and in the most unclear part of and image. Photoshop Tools: The Photoshop image that was most effective for this project is the magic wand because i could cut things out very persistently. Zip files: Zip file combine other files together so they are easier to use.
Letter Portrait:
Project Description with Reflection: In this project we first went out into nature and found the letters of our name that occurred naturally. After we found all of the letters of our name we put them in Photo Shop. We put filers on them and cut them to the size we wanted. I Really liked this project because we got to do what ever we wanted and no one had the same final product.
Art as Communication:
Do you feel you met or approached the project rationale?
Yes I feel I have met the project rationales because i have come out with a final product that i am proud of. 2. What is considered art? I think art is anything that you are proud that you made or someone else made.
3. How does context affect works of Art? Context effect art by giving an explanation or a
4. Why would context matter when interpreting art? Context matter when interpreting art because you could be looking at a picasso that is mainly made of shape and some might say it looks like something their kid drew if they didn't know that paciaso was going out of the “guideline” of his generation.
Photoshop Tutorials:
In this project we watched and followed YouTube tutorials to learn hot to make edits to photos. I chose the tutorial that showed me how to put filters on and photo along with brightening colors individually. The biggest difference between the photos is the little circles that make it look like it iOS put of a comic magazine. I also gave him white dots in his eyes for more of that effect.
