Model United Nations:In this project we had two conferences, the first one being about the Venezuelan crisis. This crisis has largely displaced the venezuelan people due to ill nourishment from their leader. We wrote resolutions on how to support the people and help their country get back onto intes feet. The second conference we did was on nuclear proliferation where we wrote resolutions with our allies and tried to figure out how to properly get rid of nuclear warheads. This conference was very hard because we had 45 minutes to write a resolution to combat the whole while getting rid of nuclear warheads in a manner where all countries will feel safe and not have anyone get their hands on nuclear weapons in the future.

Adolescence:In this project we learned about what we are going through as adolescent teens. From the different theories that scientists have made over the years to what hormones are released in the adolescent brain. At the end of the project we interviewed some that had already gone through adolescence and asked them questions about their adolescence. From the interview we wrote a paper about this journey along with explain the different theories that scientist has made about adolescence. Paragraph 1: The part of this project that I am most proud of was transferring the information that I learned from my interview to a paper when I could clearly explain adolescence for the person I interviewed. The interview I did was very hard to do because the person I interviewed couldn't make the connection between what actually happens in the adolescent journey and his adolescent journey. I am proud of this because It was hard to explain what he went through along with the adolescent journey. It ended up coming out as a final product I was proud of. Overall it was the transferring of information was the part of this project I am most proud of. Paragraph 2: The hardest thing is this project was the Seminar write up because when it was assigned I got stressed out and ended up procrastinating and waiting for the last minute to write it. The reason I procrastinated was because I saw what we were supposed to do and it looked like a lot of work when it was but it was outlined very well and not hard to do. In the future I will read what were are supposed to do carefully and then start to do it instead of getting stressed out and not do the work. Paragraph 3: The most important thing I learned is that Your adolescent years will always have their ups and downs but it is beneficial to your life. The adolescent years can not always be great and hard to explain. Having this mind set was very beneficial for this project because I was able to be the adolescent kid in the scenario and be somewhat of an expert on it. This outlook is very helpful because you are able to see both sides of the theories that we learned about. The adolescent years are weird and uncomfortable time but its is good for you as a person. Paragraph 4: The grade I think I deserve for this project is a 9 because though I am not a perfect student I do try my best and to get my work done. When the teacher is talking, I listen and when homework is assigned, I always try to do it in class. For instance when I was starting my paper I was able to just jump in and get a good chunk of it done. When work is assigned I always try to get it done. In this project I have been working hard and getting my work done. |
